The Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association promotes the interests and facilitates the development and further improvement of Patrick Estate State School. The Association endeavours to bring about closer cooperation between the parents of the students, other members of the community and the teachers and students of the school. The P&C works with the Principal and the school community in a productive partnership to achieve the best possible outcomes for students of the school.
P&C provides:
- feedback to the school
- additional resources to be used to enhance student learning
- parents with opportunities to be involved in their child's education.
The Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association has an executive committee that consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. These officers are elected at the Annual General Meeting held in February each year. You can be a member of the P&C once you are 18 years and over. Memberships are accepted at the end of each general meeting and at the beginning of the Annual General Meeting.
At Patrick Estate State School we have had a history of an active P&C. Tremendous thanks to all who are currently involved. Your time and effort is appreciated. We encourage members of our school community to come along to meetings and be part of a positive group of people with a focus on further developing the supportive school environment we have at Patrick Estate State School.
P&C Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month commencing at 3.15pm.
