Patrick Estate SS provides real world learning experiences for students of all ages. The teachers and parents of our school value the importance of providing the students with opportunities to see their local community and other regions of our state. Students attend modern and historical locations, environmental learning centres and organised public events to develop and consolidate the teaching and learning that happens in our active learning classrooms.
Students in year 5 to 6 have the opportunity to go on school camp every 2 years. Our students are given the opportunity to make new friends by attending camp with students from other schools. Camp provides students with the opportunity to collaboratively learn and work with their peers, develop independent self management skills, and challenge themselves physically with the support of encouraging friends and teachers.
