All state school students from Prep to Year 12 are eligible for this offer from Microsoft and can download free copies of
Microsoft Office 2013 to use on their personal home computers and mobile computer equipment.
The offer is part of the
Microsoft Student Advantage deal. Education Queensland has entered into an agreement with Microsoft to upgrade to Office 365 and as part of the deal Microsoft is offering the free software to students.
To get the free software, visit the
Microsoft Office 2013 webpage. Enter your MIS ID (normal school login username) in this format (
abcde15@eq.edu.au). Press TAB or click in the password field. You will be redirected to an Education Queensland page to confirm your identity. On this page re-enter your MIS ID, this time without the @eq.edu.au, and your current password.
