The 4-7 classroom has been studying bridge designs. Children have researched different designs and will participate in a bridge building day in the coming future.
By way of practice, children got into groups and created a bridge out of newspaper. Most of the designs used a beam with some cantilever. They had a lot of fun and learnt some valuable lessons about ways to build and ways not to build bridges!
